MISSION
|
• Make the region a highly dynamic technology hub and create a dynamic and fruitful innovation and technology transfer interface between EPFL and the business community through a challenging use of EPFL competences and resources by:
• Building partnerships with the industry focussed on innovation and technology transfer.
• Offering a coherent policy for innovation and valorization services and reinforcing the bridges between EPFL and the marketplace.
• Enabling technology transfer by the management and valorization of EPFL intellectual property.
• Promoting innovation by supporting the development of ideas/projects and with strategic initiatives in research.
• Valorizing financially the creativity of the campus necessary to its renewal.

BIOGRAPHY
|
Adrienne Corboud Fumagalli was a researcher, teacher and consultant in the field of media and information technology policy with a variety of institutions (University of Fribourg, DAMS Bologna, CNRS Paris, McGill University, Montreal) for several years.
In 1996 she joined the PTT in the management team of Radiocom (Radio.TV, Mobile) in charge of New Business Development and the international market. The PTT then became Swisscom, and Adrienne Corboud Fumagalli held various positions, particularly in the development of multimedia activities from 1997 to 2000. She then became Director of Product Marketing in Radio Broadcasting Services.
In November 2000, she joined the Kudelski Group as Corporate Secretary. In January 2004, she was appointed Executive Vice President in charge of
Business Development. As head of Business Development, she manages a number of company or asset acquisition projects. As part of internal development projects, Adrienne Corboud Fumagalli has handled as from 2005, the launch and management of the Mobile TV activity, and of the Abilis startup company.
Since Septembre 2008, she is Vice-President for Innovation and Technology Transfer at the EPFL with the responsabilities to develop the Innovation Campus, the Science Parc and the industrial partners.
