BIOGRAPHY
|
I received my B.Sc. degrees in electrical engineering and physics from Middle East Technical University, Ankara, Turkey, in 2001 and the M.Sc. degree in electrical engineering from the same university in 2004. From 2001 to 2004, I worked as a hardware design engineer for the Defense Industries Research and Development Institute in Turkey. I recently received my PhD degree (2009) from the Information Processing Group at EPFL, Switzerland. My dissertation was on capacity of wireless ad-hoc networks, under the supervision of Dr. Olivier Leveque and Prof. Emre Telatar.
I am currently a postdoctoral researcher in the Algorithmic Research on Networked Information group at EPFL. My research interests are in information theory, networking and wireless communications.
