BIOGRAPHY
She received her M.Sc from Electrical Engineering Department of Sharif University of Technology, Tehran, Iran, in 2006. Her M.Sc thesis was on Automatic 3D Landmark Extraction from Human MR Images, funded by Iran Telecommunication Research Center. From Dec. 2006 till Oct. 2007, she was working in Pajuhesh Gostaran Puya Co., Tehran, Iran, as a Research Engineer and she had an active contribution in several projects including OCR, Text Adaptation, Video motion detection and Text tilt Correction.
From January 2008 till April 2009 she was a research assistant in Signal Processing Laboratories(LTS) at EPFL. Since May 2009 she has joined EPFL laboratory of Idiap Research Institute (L'IDIAP) and she is simultaneously working towards her PhD on "Cross-Cultural Personality Perception from Social Signals".
Her Research interests include Signal and Image Processing, Feature Extraction, Pattern Recognition, Machine Learning, Computer Vision and Compressive sensing,.
