MISSION
|
The overall goal of my thesis is to contribute to polyelectrolytes research. As high electrostatic influences govern all studies, it is a unique situation to analyze the solution behavior of flexible, highly charged synthetic polyelectrolytes chains with charge densities in the range of DNA.
My project intends basic research, though the results will have a practical impact on the development of synthesis technologies for novel polymers. Information from interaction studies will be useful for surface modification and complex formation. Finally, the results will contribute to further approval and development of poyelectroltes theories.
