BIOGRAPHY
Igor is a research assistant and PhD student at the Laboratory for Communications and Applications (LCA1), at the Ecole Polytechnique Fédérale de Lausanne (EPFL). He earned his MSc and BSc in Communication Systems from EPFL in 2009 and 2007 respectively, with specialization in Wireless Communications.

In 2007, Igor was an exchange student at the Royal Institute of Technology (KTH) in Stockholm, Sweden, where he was involved in fiber and cellular mobile networks design. In 2008 and 2007, he worked on the SwissCube project - the first entirely Swiss made satellite - as a telecommunication systems engineer, where he contributed to the analysis, development and testing of the antennae and baseband communication subsystems.

Igor is currently working in collaboration with the Nokia Research Center (Lausanne/Helsinki). His main areas of interest include security and privacy of wireless pervasive communications. In particular, he is interested in security protocols for context-aware applications, privacy of social communities in opportunistic networks, location privacy in delay-tolerant networks, GSM/UMTS/LTE security and privacy (including femtocells).

Igor is a member of the ACM, IEEE and the Swiss Informatics Society.
