Cerebral injury and cognitive decline upon metabolic insults such as hyperglycaemia, hypoglycaemia, hypoxia and redox deregulation, and disorders like diabetes mellitus.
Metabolic features of neuromodulation and neuroprotection in the central nervous system.
Intermediary metabolism studied by nuclear magnetic resonance techniques and mathematical modelling of metabolic processes.
