(Archimedes) BIOGRAPHY From 2007 to 2009 I've been an intern and research assistant in DERI Galway (Ireland), under the supervision of Prof. Stefan Decker and Dr. Giovanni Tummarello. I was one of the main engineers in the Sindice team, working on various research aspects which involved handling large amounts of Web Data. After a full-immersion year in "startup mode", my team eventually gave birth to the Data-Intensive Infrastructures unit (DI2), of which I was a member since the very beginning. In the summer of 2008 I interned in Yahoo! Research Barcelona, under the supervision of Dr. Peter Mika. In 2009 I obtained my M.Sc. in Applied Computing and Information Technology from the "National University of Ireland, Galway" jointly with DERI.
