How to use people@EPFL to create your team page ?

people@EPFL, what is this?

This is a single interface allowing the EPFL directory to be supplemented with more personal information:

• CV
• professional history
• publications
• work
• abilities, etc.

The use of this space can be individual, but it can also allow a group, a department or a lab to put together a presentation of the people who form it, in a simple and effective manner.

Who is involved?

Members of the EPFL community like personnel, student, professor, lecturer, PhD or academic-hosts - they all can manage their own profile.
It is also possible to delegate the editing to a trustworthy person. Do contact webmaster@epfl.ch for more details.

Who can see my profile?

It is possible to choose to restrict the reading of individual personal profiles to internal consultation at EPFL. Furthermore, except for data already shown in the public yearbook, all the information has a visibility attribute. Would you prefer not to show your photograph? Would you like to add your private email? You have the choice.

What is its purpose?

Primarily, it was responding to the request of the Doctoral School and Faculties to create a “yearbook of teaching staff”. KIS has proposed the extension of its usage to the EPFL community as specified here above. This published information will be accessible in the best possible way to the departments expressing a need for it.
