The course aims to provide students with the tools necessary to read and understand the contemporary city and territory.

Studio BA5 (Viganò)

The Studio explores the evolution of Parisian landscapes facing climate change. Through a deep reading of Paris to identify the various issues linked to the socio-ecological transition and its landscape repercussions, students will imagine and design possible futures for the metropolis.

Post-extraction territories in transition #2

The Seminar proposes an European and transatlantic dialogue around the questions of the social and ecological transition (post-carbon) of marginal spaces, and territories of exploitation as the ancient coal territories on the two sides of the Atlantic.

Hidden rivers

Hidden Rivers aims at fulfilling the need for an interdisciplinary understanding of the problematics surrounding urban streams, through ecological, hydrological, and spatial relationships found in riverscapes.

Rhonescape

RHONEscape aims at realizing the necessary interdisciplinary educational background of the problematics affecting highly-corrected large rivers, by examining riverine ecological, hydrological and morphological spatial features with new methods of conceiving the space in and around rivers.
