Anne-Flore Nicole Marie Perrin
Anne-Flore Perrin was born in Pontarlier, France, on December 24th, 1991.
She received her M.Sc. degree in Computer Science, specialization image processing and computer graphics, from the engineering school Ecole Supérieure d'Ingénieurs de Rennes (ESIR), university of Rennes 1, Rennes, France, in November 2014.
From March 2014 until August 2014 she was under the supervision of Pierrick Phillipe during her Master thesis in Orange Labs, Rennes, France, on the improvement of the intra-coding of HEVC using adaptive incomplete transforms to compete the DST and DCT.
From December 2014 to May 2015, she worked in the Multimedia Signal Processing Group (MMSPG ) at the Swiss Federal Institute of Technology (EPFL), Lausanne, Switzerland, on the creation of a multimodal dataset for the assessment of the Sense of Presence in immersive multimedia and on a JPEG2000 to HEVC transcoder for the TOFuTV project.
Since July 2015 she is doctoral assistant in the MMSPG, which is led by Professor Touradj Ebrahimi, at the EPFL, Lausanne, Switzerland.
She is a part of the European QoE-Net project as an ESR working on the study of the mechanisms of Quality of Experience (QoE)-oriented coding in 3D TV, HDR TV, with particular emphasis on the influence of environmental parameters on the QoE.
Her research interests are in the fields of image and video processing and encoding to measure, improve and provide QoE in immersive multimedia technologies.
