Biography
PhD student in the joint program between EPFL in Switzerland and IST in Portugal working on Robotics.
Mission
As a roboticist, I am curious about robots, the psychology of human behaviors, and the process of learning. Subsequently, I want to know how understanding the psychology of human behavior can help developing robots that can perform adequately in interaction scenarios with humans. I am extending this curiosity to interactions within educational mediums, especially with children. Currently, I am trying to develop a cognitive framework for the robot in educational scenarios. My question is how can we develop the robot’s cognitive structure and simultaneously evaluate its influence on children’s learning?
Current work
Currently, my work focuses on developing cognitive models for embodied agents such as robots in educational child-robot interactions. Currently working on generating a decision-making model of perspective-taking that helps robots to make informed decisions while collaborating with children.
