Biography
Amitabh Yadav holds a B.Tech. in Electronics Engineering from University of Petroleum and Energy Studies in India (2017) and a M.Sc. in Computer Engineering from Delft University of Technology in the Netherlands (2019). During his time as a thesis student at QuTech, the Dutch advanced research institute for quantum communication and computation, his work centered on the exploration of computer microarchitectures and it's realization for the control electronics of a 2-qubit electron-spin in quantum dots prototype quantum processor using Xilinx MPSoC. Prior to joining EPFL, he has worked as a theoretical computer science researcher in the area of Quantum Information Theory at University of California in Berkeley and later joined as an experimental physicist in the Ionization Radiation Protection Group at the European Organization for Nuclear Research (CERN).Currently, he is a doctoral assistant in Integrated Neurotechnologies Laboratory at EPFL, where his research focuses on Ultra-low Power digital and mixed-signal Integrated Circuit Design for Brain-Machine Interfaces. His work will span the development of theoretical frameworks in neural signal processing, applying machine learning methods for interpretation of the neural signals, and development of integrated circuits for BMI sensing/actuating systems and challenges related to it's characterization and experimentation (In-vivo and In-vitro).
