Biography
I received my Master degree in Mathematical Modelling in Engineering from Politecnico di Torino, Italy. In 2012, after an internship at Los Alamos National Laboratory, USA, I joined the Seminar for Applied Mathematics of ETH Zurich, Switzerland, as a doctoral student and defended my PhD thesis in 2016. During my PhD studies I spent four months at the Chinese University of Hong Kong as a visiting researcher. From February till August 2017 I worked in T-5 Applied Mathematics and Plasma Physics group at Los Alamos National Laboratory as a short-term scholar (postdoc). Since October 2017, I am a postdoctoral researcher at the Chair of Computational Mathematics and Simulation Science.
