Biographie
Clarisse Labro earned a BFA in Studio Arts from Bard College and holds a Masters Degree in Architecture from Yale University.After working with architects Charles Gwathmey and Shigeru Ban , she and her partner founded Labro & Davis architecture studio in Paris in 2011. Their projects and collaborations, located principally across Europe, include interventions in museums, hotels, restaurants, private homes and art galleries.
For the last five years, Clarisse has been teaching in first year at the Ecole Polytechnique Fédérale de Lausanne (EPFL) in Switzerland, first year art/design studio in PARSONS Paris and diplomas at STRATE Ecole de Design in Meudon, France.
Recently she has contributed to several publications on pedagogy in architecture and joined ENSA final year juries in Paris.
She is a member of the Full Circle Collaborative think tank which focuses their research on sustainable models for urban growth, urban governance, circular economy practices and the dismantling of social disparity and spatial injustice.
