Biography
I got my Master degree in Energy Engineering at the University of Bologna (Italy) in 2016, working at CERN for my final thesis on the analysis of the stability margin of superconducting cables for LHC and HiLumi magnets.
In the same year, I joined the TERA Foundation at CERN, working on beam optics and gantry design for hadron therapy.
In 2017, I started my PhD in Applied Superconductivity in collaboration between CERN and EPFL, developing novel toroidal configurations for hadron therapy gantries. I am now moving toward the final part of the PhD, designing an HTS demonstrator of the gantry coil.
