Biography
I hold a BSc degree in Mechanical Engineering and a MSc degree with a sp. in Thermal Engineering from the Coimbra Polytechnic Institute of Engineering (ISEC). Currently, I am in the final year of a second MSc degree (sp. in Fluids and Energy) at the Faculty of Engineering of the University of Porto (FEUP), while completing a mobility year at the École Polytechnique Fédérale de Lausanne (EPFL), Switzerland. I am a highly motivated individual with a genuine passion for continuous learning and collaboration with people from diverse backgrounds and disciplines. I have a strong practical and applied vision of knowledge and, early on, I recognized the importance of project-based learning and extracurricular experience in enhancing both technical hard and soft skills. My experience working simultaneously on diverse, hands-on projects with multicultural teams, across different time zones, has provided me with authentic insights into real-world problem-solving and interdisciplinary collaboration, communication and teamwork. Balancing all these projects simultaneously has enhanced my effective time management, organizational skills, and ability to learn autonomously while adapting quickly to new environments. Additionally, it has strengthened my ability to work well under pressure, enabling me to maintain high performance and make sound decisions even in demanding situations
