Fields of expertise

-Expert in the photophysical properties of nanostructured semiconductors for high-technological-impact optoelectronic applications (i.e. new generation photovoltaic materials like organic nanocomposites, hybrid organic-inorganic perovskites nanocrystals; 2D materials for electronic applications like graphene);
-Technical skills on time-resolved optical spectroscopy (fs-ns transient absorption spectroscopy, time resolved photoluminescence spectroscopy and microscopy), Raman spectroscopy, optical (UV-VIS absorption, photoluminescence) and structural characterizations (AFM, SEM);
-Wet chemistry expertise in the development and fabrication of prototypal devices (i.e. photovoltaic solar cells and photodiode) on laboratory-scale and their standard opto-electronic characterization;
-Lab-Manager Experience in optical spectroscopy facilities (experience in developing new optical experimental set-ups, designing and implementing experiments; lab maintenance and troubleshooting);
-Project Manager Experience in leading Master and PhD-students research activities, leading international collaboration and projects (responsible of writing research proposal, leading kickoff meetings with international teams, budget definition and negotiation, identifying candidates, writing report and planning of research activities and project schedules with academic and industrial partners);
-Expert in technical writing; scientific communication and public speaking

Author of 40 peer-reviewed paper; Speaker in 25 international conference of ultrafast optics and material research society; Inventor of 2 patents with Oxford Photovoltaics Company (UK);
