My broad research focus is on Extreme Value Theory (EVT), a branch of probability and statistics that deals with the analysis of extreme and rare events. Although I primarily work with environmental spatial datasets, I am also interested in other applications of EVT. Recently, I am interested in the intersection of EVT with Statistical Learning Theory.
I am currently a first-year PhD candidate at EPFL (Swiss Federal Insitute of Technology in Lausanne) under the supervision of Prof. Anthony Davison.
