Kazuhiro Morimoto received the B.S. and M.S. degree in applied physics from the University of Tokyo, Japan, in 2011 and 2013, respectively. Since 2013, he has been working for Canon Inc., Japan, as a semiconductor device engineer. He engaged in pixel design of CMOS image sensors. In 2017 he started working towards the PhD degree in AQUA lab, École Polytechnique Fédérale de Lausanne, Neuchâtel, Switzerland. His interests include multi-megapixel SPAD image sensors for time-resolved applications such as fluorescence lifetime imaging, Raman spectroscopy, and LiDAR sensing.
