Researcher in Thermal Separation for Desalination
Dr. Heidari is currently pursuing applied research and development in the field of thermal membrane separation. The field of invention is to develop a novel hybrid thermal separation technology destined for desalination.
The current research activity involves the development of a robust simulation tool, that is capable of predicting the performance of our novel thermal separation system. Simulation results will be validated against the experimental results acquired with our technological demonstrator.
Mahbod heidari received the B.Sc. degree in Mechanical engineering from K.N.Toosi University of Technology, Tehran, Iran in 2007, and the M.Sc. degree from the University of Manchester/K.N.Toosi University of Technology Joint program in energy systems engineering, in 2010. He also recieved his Ph.D. degree in Energy engineering from Ecole Polytechnique Fédérale de Lausanne, Lausanne, Switzerland in 2015.
