Biographie

Mingyang Wei is a postdoctoral researcher at the École Polytechnique Fédérale de Lausanne. He received his B.Sc in Physics from Peking University in 2016, followed by a PhD at the University of Toronto in 2020 under the supervision of Prof. Ted Sargent. Mingyang`s research advanced the synthesis and photophysical understanding of metal halide perovskites toward better single junction and tandem solar cells, luminescent solar concentrators, and optical modulators. He has first and co-first authored publications in Nature, Science, Nature Materials, and Nature Energy. Mingyang has been awarded with the Marie Sklodowska Curie Individual Fellowship, Governor General's Gold Medal, Forbes 30 under 30, and Clarivate Highly-cited Researcher.
