Dr. Natacha Tofield Pasche is a limnologist with strong interests in biogeochemical processes in lakes. Environmental Engineer from ENAC/EPFL, she accomplished her PhD on nutrient cycling and methane production in Lake Kivu in 2009. From 2009 to 2013, she worked for the Government of Rwanda to develop the Lake Kivu Monitoring Program, that is monitoring methane extraction in Lake Kivu. Since 1st September 2013, she is the Deputy Director of the Center of Limnology at EPFL.
Deputy Director of the Limnology Center, I manage and coordinate multidisciplinary projects on different lakes in Russia. We also work to install an experimental research platform on Lake Geneva, with data acquisition at high spatial and temporal resolutions.
