Biography
Romanian architect, designer, and educator, Oana Stănescu's projects span seamlessly across disciplines and scales, from private residences to public infrastructure, from design to teaching. She has been profiled in publications like The New York Times, El Pais, Complex, Madame Figaro, the Financial Times and PIN UP, while her work has been published in numerous international publications like Time Magazine, Glamour, NY Magazine, Wired, Fast Company, Cultured or many more.She has worked with Virgil Abloh, Ye, Coachella, the New Museum, MoMA, Fool’s Gold, Need Supply, The office of Playlab, and the Store-front for Art and Architecture.Ms. Stănescu taught and lectured at Harvard GSD, MIT, Columbia GSAPP and UCLA amongst others.She is currently building in North America and Europe and is curator of the 2024 Beta Biennial titled "Cover Me Softly".
