Samuel Lavenir
Biography
I am a Ph.D student in mathematics under supervision of Jérôme Scherer, working in the group Topology and neuroscience of Kathryn Hess. My research focuses on abstract homotopy theory and higher categories. I am particularly interested in using the language of higher categories to develop homotopy theory synthetically. In parallel, I also like to think about persistent homotopy theory and its applications to various geometric contexts.Publications
