Thomas JUSSELME is an eco-design engineer. He completed his education with a Master in Industrial Design at UTC Compiègne after having graduated from University Lyon 1 in environmental science engineering. After his training, he studied sustainable architecture by traveling through 25 countries around the world, and subsequently founded exNdo studio, an eco-design engineering office and worked there as a CTO during 8 years. Since 2006, he is also partner and co-founder of exNdo architectures.
In 2015 he founded Combo Solutions, an applied research office in the field of sustainable building.
He join EPFL starting from 2014, and set up the smart building research program for the Building 2050 research group. In 2015, he also started a PhD within the LIPID/EPFL lab under the co-supervision of Marilyne Andersen and Emmanuel Rey (LAST-EPFL). In the frame of his PhD, he develops a LCA-based data-driven design method for the early stages of low carbon buildings.
