Thanh Trung Phan
I have research background in social network mining, natural language processing, deep learning, geographic information system, and location based services. My current PhD topic is in the fields of digital cities of intereactions between people, locations, and activities. I am interested in the connections between computer science and social sciences.
I has been a doctoral student at Idiap and EPFL since January 2016. I graduated with a B.Sc degree in Information Technology from University of Science, Vietnam National University, Ho Chi Minh City (VNU-HCMC) in 2010. I obtained my Master of Engineering in Multimedia and Communication from Telecom ParisTech , France in 2013.
From February 2013 to August 2013, I did my master intern at Aalto University in Espoo, Finland.
