Biography
Dr. Weng was born in Hangzhou, China. He received B.Sc in applied physics and M.Eng in optical engineering from Nanjing University of Aeronautics and Astronautics, China. In 2016 he received his PhD in physics from the University of Western Australia and continued his research in the Institute for Photonics and Advanced Sensing (IPAS) at the University of Adelaide.
In 2017 he was awarded a Marie-Curie individual fellowship and joined the Laboratory of Photonics and Quantum Measurements (LPQM) as a postdoctoral researcher. His research interests include optical microresonators, frequency combs, laser physics, nonlinear dynamics and metrology.
