- étude de la fissuration à chaud dans divers procédés (coulée semi-continue d'alliages d'aluminium, soudage, etc ...)

Ce cours traite la théorie de la mécanique de la rupture et son applications aux matériaux.

Une introduction à la science des matériaux appliquée aux matériaux de construction courants, en particulier le béton et les métaux. Description de leur fabrication, leurs comportements mécanique et thermique et leur utilisation en construction.

Dans ce cours, les outils qui permettent de décrire les matériaux non pas au niveau atomique mais au niveau d'un continuum sont présentés. Les tenseurs des contraintes et des déformations, les lois de conservation (masse, énergie, quantité de mouvement), l'élasticité et la viscosité sont traités.

Théorie et pratique des éléments finis

MSE-369

L'objectif du cours est de comprendre la méthode des éléments finis i.e. les formulations variationnelles faibles et fortes et les schémas de résolution en espace et en temps. La seconde partie du semestre sera dédiée à la mise en pratique de la méthode sur le code commercial Abaqus.
