Mission
The work conducted by the group is focused on the computation and experimental investigation of steady and unsteady flow in turbomachinery (aeroengines, steam and gas turbines), including heat transfer phenomena. This research is conducted in close association with our industrial and academic partners with the primary goal of improving the overall performance and reliability of turbomachinery.The research subjects at the LTT are closely related to real applications and are addressed through a direct collaboration with industry. With the increasing need of cost-efficient, powerful and flexible turbomachines, the investigation of turbomachinery flow has become critical to improving their design.
