Courses

Dynamical systems in biology

This course introduces dynamical systems theory for modeling simple biological networks, e.g. gene circuits or population dynamics. Qualitative analysis of non-linear dynamical models will be developed together with simulations. The focus is on biological examples.

Topics in life sciences engineering

Students will acquire fundamental knowledge and skills regarding how genomes can be engineered, how their function can be deciphered, as well as how their dynamic outputs can be analyzed and modeled.
