Professionals experiences

Head of IT

In charge of everything related to IT for the company: hardware acquisition, deployment, software installation and maintenance, security, networking, develop and maintain custom company website.

Software developer and IT engineer

As a researcher and developer, I mostly work on the implementation of demonstrative, didactical as well as real-world application (ipTV, file transfer, and social networking) of the algorithms invented in our laboratory.

As IT manager I take care of a computer network serving about 50 users. We run our own file/web/mail and backup servers, single sign-on system, printing system and HPC cluster. I also work as a scientific advisor and developer in a web project.

Working on the modernization of a software for the ab-initio calculation of the electronic properties of solids which later evolved into quantum espresso
