Martin Bieri is a PhD student at the Laboratory of Hydraulic Constructions (LCH) of the Ecole Polytechnique Fédérale de Lausanne (EPFL), Switzerland. He obtained his Master’s degree in Civil Engineering at the same university in 2007. During his graduation he worked as trainee for different engineering companies in Switzerland. Beside his PhD topic in the field of hydrological-hydraulic modeling, he is involved in different applied research projects, physical modelling tests as well as numerical simulations.
