Mission
As project manager at EPFL School of Continuing Education, Théodore Besson dévelops an international programme of continuing education on Industrial Ecology, in close collaboration with the University of Lausanne and Prof. Suren Erkman. This programme targets all professionals of the various and interdisciplinary fields of environment and also top managers and decision makers, coming both from public and private sectors.
This continuing education cycle offers 2 days training modules and an executive course on 2007 and a Master of Advanced Studies schedulded on 2008, in the field of industrial ecology, that aims to implement sustainable development.
After his Master of Science in Biology at the University of Lausanne, Théodore Besson has then made a Master of Advanced Studies at l'EPFL, in the field of environmental management.
In 2006, he organized a scientific workshop and an international conference on industrial ecology, from November 27 to December 1, followed by 220 participants and with more than 50 lectures.

Living in Mars
This course proposes to students of the 3 ENAC sections (AR,GC,SIE) to design in groups a space habitat on planet Mars. In an interdisciplinary way, they will approach problematics which they will have to analyze, interpret, integrate and represent.
