Oncology

L'objectif principal de ce cours est d'illustrer les concepts qui constituent le point de vue actuel sur la façon dont le cancer survient et progresse chez les humains ainsi que dans des modèles expérimentaux d'animaux.

Cancer biology II

The course covers in detail the interactions of cancer cells with their environment with an emphasis on tumor-angiogenesis, inflammation, adaptive and innate immunity and cancer-induced immune suppression. Additional topics are cancer metabolism, cancer stem cells and metastasis.

Scientific project design in translational oncology

Le cours se concentre sur le rôle de l'inflammation dans le cancer. Il met l'accent sur la régulation et les fonctions multiples des cellules inflammatoires associées à la tumeur, et comment ils favorisent ou inhibent le cancer. Les étudiants analysent et présentent des articles scientifiques clés.
