San Yun is a Doctoral Researcher at the Laboratory of Architecture and Sustainable Technologies (LAST) at the école Polytechnique Fédérale de Lausanne, where she investigates the socio-ecological transformations of existing urban neighbourhoods in response to contemporary vulnerabilities, with the aim of contributing to more habitable and socially cohesive cities.
San obtained a Master of Science in Architecture with a Minor in Integrated Design, Architecture and Sustainability (IDEAS) from EPFL in 2023. Her diploma project was honoured with a nomination for the Prize for Best Theoretical Statements from the Institute of Architecture and the City (IA).
