Farzaneh Eskandari is a PhD student at EPFL, conducting research on robotic timber construction for housing applications, based on advanced robotic systems. Her research develops vision-guided robotic assembly of timber structures and force-aware manipulation strategies, aiming to enable industries to implement vernacular timber systems within modern construction — improving material efficiency and enabling more cost-effective, structurally efficient timber construction.
