As a neuroscientist, I'm interested in neural circuits for emotion, how emotional states guide decision making, how information across time scales and memory/experiences are integrated to make decisions, physiological clocks and the processes and computations required for cognition.
Outside of the lab, I love to travel, learn about art, history, culture, languages with their syntax and etymologies and video games, fabricating tools and devices (and also how I can make these interests a part of my work!)
