Error control in scientific modelling
Les erreurs sont omniprésentes dans les sciences informatiques. En ce qui concerne les problèmes de valeurs propres motivés par la science des matériaux et la modélisation atomistique, nous discutons, mettons en œuvre et appliquons des techniques numériques pour estimer l'erreur de simulation.
Numerical analysis
The students will learn key numerical techniques for solving standard mathematical problems in science and engineering. The underlying mathematical theory and properties are discussed.
