Microbial dynamics and greenhouse gas fluxes from

I am an environmental microbiologist interested in soil microorganisms, their responses to climate change and vice versa. My master project at the Arctic University of Norway focused on physiological adjustments (reduction of cellular ribosome contents) of soil microbes in warmed sub-arctic forest and grassland soils. Now at EPFL, my PhD project aims to investigate warming effects on soil microorganisms in permafrost-affected high-altitude ecosystems and down stream greenhouse gas fluxes from the Swiss Alps.
