Mission
RESEARCH: In charge of the research domain « fatigue and fracture of steel structures ». Has extensive experience in the domains of fatigue and fracture of steel, aluminum and glass structures, safety and serviceability as well as structural elements composed of different materials.Granted the right to supervise doctoral candidates since 2005.
TEACHING: In charge of the courses steel structures, special topics in steel structures, ENAC teaching unit "habiter Mars", lecturer for the courses conceptual design of bridges, fatigue and fracture mechanics (EDCE).
CONSULTING: work in assessment, control and forensic engineering. Examples are : Solar Impulse airplane, Alinghi race boat, Expo.02 plateforms, the Millau Viaduct, Kirchenfeld and Kornhaus bridges (Bern), 3rd Bosphorus crossing, Grande Dixence rehab.
