Biographie
I am a Ph.D. Researcher at the Chair of Timber Construction of EPFL, with core expertise in computational design, digital fabrication, computer vision, augmented reality, and AI systems in timber construction. My current doctoral research, "Augmented Carpentry", focuses on giving human operators robotic vision for performing manual tasks in timber carpentry.I did my bachelor's studies in Architecture in Bruxelles, Belgium, at ULB-La Cambre Horta. I then moved to Helsinki, Finland to attend a one-year master course focused on timber design, construction, and technology at Aalto University. Having worked for one year in Zürich in construction details I have decided to complete my studies at EPFL where I obtained my diploma on the topic of half-timber structures and digital fabrication.

Augmented Carpentry
Augmented Carpentry aims to develop widely accessible construction processes for timber materials. Human operators, independent from their origin and knowledge in carpentry, occupy the new digital fabrication shift. The fabrication of complex geometries and designs will also be accessible to a broader public without disposing of expensive industrial equipment. By exploring human-machine collaboration in modern carpentry and design of timber construction, Augmented Carpentry can contribute to keeping the human element in the digital loop allowing more socially sustainable digital fabrication in timber construction. Enseignement & Phd
MR (ETH, 2022) - Tutor
Tutor and project supervisor of MR course at ETH (Instructors: Dr. Iro Armeni, Prof. Marc Pollefeys). The goal of this course is an introduction and hands-on experience on latest mixed reality technology at the cross-section of 3D computer graphics and human machine interaction.Quantitative imaging for engineers (EPFL, 2022) -
Invited lecturer for introducing students to laser scanning and point cloud post-processing (Instructor: Andò Edward Carlo Giorgio). This course will arm students with knowledge of different imaging techniques for practical measurements in many different fields of civil engineering.Cours
Introduction to computational architecture
Ce cours reprend les bases de la modélisation 3D pour établir les fondements de la programmation appliqué au design architectural. L'objectif principal est de développer une pensée structurante computationnelle afin de maximiser l'utilisation d'outils numériques efficace
