Expertise
Attosecond science, ultrafast laser physics.
Dr Bruce Weaver is a scientist in the LUMES group. His research interests include attosecond electron pulses and PINEM. He is currently the holder of an FP-RESOMUS fellowship from NCCR-MUST to explore the generation of attosecond electron pulses and their application to the measurement of electron dynamics in materials.
Previously, Bruce was a PhD student at Imperial College London, where he worked on multi-colour field synthesis and attosecond pulse generation. He holds a masters degree, also from Imperial College London, in which he focused on the measurement of ultrashort laser pulses.
