Neuroscience: cellular and circuit mechanisms

This course focuses on the cellular mechanisms of mammalian brain function. We will describe how neurons communicate through synaptic transmission in order to process sensory information ultimately leading to motor behavior.

Scientific project design in integrative neurosciences

This course will provide a forum in which students engage themselves in learning how to design a scientific project that bridges scales and allows following the causal chain from one scale to the next.

State of the Art Topics in Neuroscience XIV - Motor Control

This one-week course "Motor Control - from Thought to Action" brings together leading experts in the field of motor control, who will discuss the underlying fundamental principles of how movement and behavior are orchestrated, and how therapies for motor dysfunction can be developed.
