Francesco Armillotta

Biography

I am presently a Postdoc in the Laboratory of Nanostructures at Surfaces (LSN) group, interested in the catalytic properties of surface-confined (sub)nano-structures.

I’m currently a candidate for representing the scientific staff (PhD students, postdocs, staff scientists) in the EPFL School Assembly. With nearly two years of experience at EPFL and an additional two years on the horizon, I believe I can provide continuity and facilitate effective operation in the best interest of the community. I am particularly committed to creating and fostering a frictionless, inclusive, and interlinked working environment. Additionally, I have been an active member of the EPFL Postdoc Association (EPDA) since 2023.
