Biographie
Giulia Bini is curator and production manager at the EPFL ArtLab.
She was a member of the curatorial team of ZKM Center for Art and Media, Karlsruhe from 2014 to 2017.
Her work develops in the two axes of theory and institutional practice.
She has conducted research at the Whitechapel Gallery and RIBA, London, 2013; and at the Centre George Pompidou, Paris, 2014. She was a member of the curatorial board of Viafarini DOCVA, Milan, 2012/2013, and has collaborated with institutions among which Pro Helvetia and ZhDK, Zurich in the framework of the Venice Biennale.
In 2017 she completed a Ph.D. at IUAV (Istituto Universitario di Architettura) Venice with a thesis at the crossroads of media theory, curatorial studies, and architectural theory, reflecting on the impact of media and technologies in rethinking architectural discourse and exhibition methods, as well as institutional models.

Recent scientific collaborations include research for the exhibition and edited volume LOW FORM. Imaginaries and Visions in the Age of Artificial Intelligence at MAXXI Rome, published by CURA in 2018.
