Fields of expertise
Current work
Currently developing micro-electromechanical actuators for microparticle manipulation in microfluidics. We are exploiting regular arrangements of three-dimensional electrodes in microchannels as active modules to perform complex bioanalytical steps in a lab-on-chip compact and automatized format. In particular, we aim at applying this novel microparticle manipulation technology to the fields of multi-analyte bead-based point-of-care immunoassays and cell sorting.Education
