Professionals experiences

Postdoctoral Researcher

Since June 2025, I have been working at the EPFL Instant-Lab, led by Prof. Simon Henein, as a postdoctoral researcher. The laboratory's main research focus is the design and modeling of compliant mechanisms for watchmaking, aerospace, medical, and industrial applications. I am currently involved in technical, managerial, and laboratory development tasks.

Research engineer

From December 2024 to May 2025, I worked at the ICube Laboratory in Strasbourg as a Research Engineer, extending my Ph.D. thesis contributions to another type of continuum robot: the widely used tendon-driven continuum robot.

PhD student

From October 2021 to December 2024, I conducted my Ph.D. thesis at the ICube Laboratory in Strasbourg. My research involved developing new conceptual tools for continuum robot modeling, translating mathematical models into functional algorithms, designing mechanical and mechatronic systems, and performing experimental proofs of concept.

Assitant position

Alongside my Ph.D. thesis, I also held an Assistant position at INSA Strasbourg. During the three-year contract, I supervised a total of 201.5 hours of teaching.
Teaching hours details:
- Control Engineering | 2nd year of B.Sc | 66 hours
- Mechatronics Project | 3rd year of B.Sc | 85.5 hours
- Computer-Assisted Mechanical Design | 3rd year of B.Sc | 4 hours
- Hydraulic Systems Control | 1st year of M.Sc | 6 hours
- Industrial Robot Programming | 2nd year of M.Sc | 40 hours

Research internship

In 2020, during my first year of an M.Sc., I completed an 8-week internship at the Femto-St Laboratory in Besançon, focusing on the characterization of a concentric tubes continuum robot prototype.

Industrial internship

In 2019, during my third year of B.Sc., I completed a 7-week internship at Swissphone in Samstagern. I worked as an operator in the pager production department and learned about the electronics industry.

Industrial internship

In 2018, during my second year of a Bachelor of Science, I completed a 6-week internship at the Acxias agency in Paris. I am self-trained in using UiPath software and developed RPA solutions for automatically maintaining an ERP system.

Research internship

In 2017, during my first year of a B.Sc., I completed a four-week internship at both Silmach Company and the Femto-St Laboratory in Besançon. I conducted practical and theoretical studies of a micro-shock sensor with mechanical memory.
