Current Work
There are fantastic stories of scientific advancements to tell. But it’s the people behind the science who are pushing those boundaries. I am passionate about getting those human stories – about research and technology driven by people – out of the lab.I strive to tell those stories in an engaging and responsible manner while giving the audience the opportunity to learn something new.
I put together media rich stories for professionals of the press around the world. This includes writing press releases, creating video content and photography, to overseeing infographics and other creative outlets. I collaborate with international partners to successfully disseminate these stories around the world. I organize international campaigns and events to promote advances is science.
Inspired to understand the nature of things, my background is in physics and theories beyond Einstein’s theory of gravitation. Throughout my studies, I found teaching particularly enriching for both students and myself. Science communication is a way to stay informed of leading scientific discovery while exploring creative outreach and teaching strategies.
Science aside, I have always been drawn to the creative arts and the mountains. So when I am not searching for the next story, you’ll find me dabbling in the sound spectrum of musical microtones, or ski-touring wherever I can find some powder.
