Biography

I work as a Pedagogical Advisor for the sections MT, MX, GM and Neuro-X providing support in everything related to teaching. I mainly accompany Professors and teachers on their teaching journey by discussing their needs and the evolution of their courses. The final objective being to offer high quality courses where EPFL students are exposed to meaningful learning experiences. In addition to that I also:   

• Coordinate the course evaluations process (via collecting the students' feedback).
• Design and teach workshops to promote active learning.   
• Manage “Point Solutions” (online polling licenses and training).
• Co-lead the Mental Health Focus Group: Formation et développement personnel.
• Coordinate and teach the doctoral course ENG-624: Teaching Science and Engineering.
• Board member of the Swiss Faculty Development Network (SFDN).

 Before joining EPFL I worked for 11 years in lower education, first as a teacher and then in the management team of a school, together with the role of Pedagogical Coordinator, which aimed at introducing “Innovative pedagogies” based mainly in three pillars:

• interdisciplinarity (learning through projects);    
• development of socio-emotional competences (well-being and positive conflict resolution);    
• development of digital competences (teach the use and use these tools to teach and learn).

 I also have a Master on “Mediation and Conflict Resolution” (2015) and I am currently doing a Master in “Professional Executive and Team Coaching” and a CAS en “Ingénierie des évaluations en formation”.

My next objective is to do a PhD.
