Mission
Our research topics concern the middle-sized and large electrical machines, the electrical networks and the adjustable speed drive systems, they involve a double approach. On one hand, an approach of component type (modelling and optimisation of miscellaneous types of machines in the perspective of new and future utilization), and on the other hand an approach of system type (development of simulation tools applicable to new topologies involving mechanical equipment, power electronics, regulation and control devices, ). The main topics are listed below, most of them are investigated in collaboration with different industrial companies, each one is illustrated by an example.Publications
